Curriculums and programs

To date, the Department of Cooperatives has provided two curriculums of cooperatives economics studies according to the Standard Measures of the National Higher Education BE 2552(2009): one is the bachelor’s degree curriculum and the other is the master’s degree curriculum, named as the following degrees

The structure of the curriculum set out belongs to the standard criteria of the Ministry of Education of Thailand. The details of the curriculum are described as follows:

Both of the curriculums of cooperatives economics at the undergraduate and graduate studies are concerned with the study of economics, cooperatives management, and cooperatives principles. The details of the discipline of studies are as follows:


The area of economics : Including subjects within microeconomics, macroeconomics, cooperatives economics, business economic policy, ethical aspects related to business economics, institutional economics and cooperatives.


The area of cooperatives management: Including subjects within the structure and management of cooperatives, cooperatives accounting, quantitative analysis for cooperatives management, law and regulation of cooperatives organizations, financial management of cooperatives, credit management of cooperatives, saving cooperatives management, consumer cooperatives manage ment, cooperative policy and planning, cooperatives budget management, supply chain management of cooperatives, risk management in cooperatives, logistic management in cooperatives, advance cooperatives marketing.


The area of cooperatives principles : Including many subjects used to develop the national community, society, and economics such as the subjects of; Advance cooperatives doctrine, History and development of cooperatives, Thai economy and cooperatives, cooperatives and economic and social development, and many subjects belonging to each category and types of cooperatives businesses and organizations
